The Himalayan park closest to Kathmandu. A deep forest gorge full of niltavas, minivets and the chance of a Red-headed Trogon, then yak pastures under Langtang Lirung, where Ibisbill feed on the river shingle and Snow Pigeons wheel overhead. Ten unhurried days, with a spare day at Kyanjin Gompa for the high birds.
